A Mother’s Love, A Photographer’s Eye & A Promise of Pure Care
Monisha Gururani, a talented baby photographer, always believed in capturing purity and innocence through her lens. But her perspective on beauty and care shifted when her son, a passionate golfer, began suffering from sunburn and irritation despite using well-known sunscreens.
On reading the labels, Monisha discovered that many of these products contained harsh chemicals and synthetic fillers. As a mother, she couldn’t accept exposing her child’s skin to anything unsafe. This was the turning point — a promise to create something better, safer, and truly pure.
Drawing on her roots in Ayurveda, Monisha began exploring natural, healing ingredients like Yashad Bhasma , Chamomile, turmeric, aloe vera, and sandalwood. She blended these time-tested botanicals into gentle formulations, starting with a gentle and safe sunscreen. This became the very first product of House of Soundarya — not just a skincare line, but a mother’s heartfelt solution born out of love and necessity.
